Mil's Trills is a children's music project led by Amelia Robinson, that invites families to celebrate the community through original tunes and a rotating cast of musical guests. A highly interactive show, audiences are encouraged to be part of the experience while discovering a world of instruments.
Long a traditional favorite, Methuen Ballet Ensemble brings the holiday classic, "The Nutcracker" to Firehouse Center for the Arts in Newburyport, Massachusetts. The company is thrilled to announce that world renowned ballet dancer and choreographer Sabi Varga will be joining this year's production. It is not to be missed! In addition to dancing in the production, Mr. Varga will be tapping into his creative and artistic talents as guest choreographer for select scenes!

The Headless Horseman Rides Again! This Friday 10/23 at 7pm in the Ipswich Meeting House, storyteller J.T. Turner portrays Washington Irving telling his most famous tale, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Taking on all the roles of this Halloween tale, Turner has adapted the piece to keep all ages entertained. It is story theater at its best.
Rockport Music honors the memory of late board member John Sparks with a free community concert at the Shalin Liu Performing Arts Center. The Ghostlight Chorus is an exceptional 16-member chamber choir who performs a varied repertoire of sacred and secular a cappella compositions from the 16th to the 21st centuries. Their performances range from cathedrals to concert halls to the PS1 Benefit at MoMA New York to a live performance with the Rolling Stones. The Press Herald hailed that “it is simply one of the best vocal ensembles I have heard in a long time.”

The journey begins when a massive storm hits the sea, wrecking the Prince’s boat onto an abandoned shore. Be dazzled as the Prince discovers the beautiful Mermaid and her magical sea creature friends.
Shakespeare invites his audience into the Forest of Arden, where the beneficent and chaotic forces of Nature will melt away the synthetic bonds of the city and restore us to our proper selves…perhaps. One of Shakespeare’s most simple, flirtatious and playful comedies, As You Like It takes us away from the preening theater of the court to explore the primal theater of Nature; here is a play that belongs outside. Join us for a journey into the woods as we overlay the Forest of Arden on Maudslay State Park for Shakespeare’s As You Like It.
