Ice is Nice! Sunday Morning Science at Joppa

Kids can explore the wonders of Ice at this science workshop for kids at Joppa Flats

When and how does water form into ice? When and how does it melt? And what makes it melt faster or slower? We will perform fun science experiments to understand ice and snow, freezing and melting. They we'll put your science knowledge to work to make ice cream!

Newburyport Afternoon Block Party

Baysteps Newburyport hosts an afternoon hip hop block party for kids 3-6 years old!

Newburyport BabyStep's 8-Week Afternoon Block Party at is open to boys and girls ages 3-6 years old. This is one-hour class starts with 30 minutes of hip hop dance, followed by a 30-minute "free-style", instructional music class.

There will be magicians, puppet shows, and even a drum parade with a green dancing dragon.  This all happens with a backdrop live performances of dance & music ranging from classical music, jazz, reggae and rock & roll! The Annual Middle Street Walk is a great way to experience Gloucester's Historic District while having fun with the family. The Festivities begin at 10am and go all the way through to the lighting of the lobster pot tree in downtown Gloucester! Pick up a Schedule of Events and get your walk on!  A whole day of FREE activities, shows and events await for all the members of the family.

The annual Middle Street Walk 2018 wraps up every year with the lighting of the lobster trap Christmas tree in Gloucester Massachusetts! Stop by Cape Ann Art Haven for a Holiday Party with hot chocolate, sweet treats, kids' crafts, holiday photos, face painting live music. Caroling starts at 4:30pm, followed by the tree lighting across the street at 5pm. Come find your buoy hanging on the tree, enjoy caroling, seeing the star put on the tree join us for the countdown and celebrate the season with the lighting of our Lobster Trap Tree!

The Trustees' Castle Hill Christmas by the Sea is a weekend of festivities hosted by the Trustees of Reservations at Castle Hill in Ipswich Massachusetts

Visiting Castle Hill at Christmas is a time-honored tradition for many New England families. Don't miss this year's spectacular "Christmas by the Sea". Each room in our 1920s mansion is festively decorated by florists, designers, garden clubs, or volunteers. You'll find live music and dance, fresh baked cookies and cider, a treasure hunt, family activities, and a visit with Santa.

Hamilton Massachusetts celebrates Halloween with a Pumpkin Fest!
