Did you know the famous painting The Spirit of '76 painting resides at Abbot Hall in Marblehead? Have some family fun at Marblehead’s historic Abbot Hall! The Marblehead Historical Commission has released a scavenger hunt that takes visitors of all ages through the first and second floors of Abbot Hall searching for objects that represent Marblehead history. It’s interesting to walk through the town hall, built in 1876, to find many objects that help us understand the past.

Join local history buff, Scott Jewell, on a walk around the town of Ipswich and learn about the fascinating history of its former bustling port. Join Mass Audubon's Joppa Flats Education Center on a On-the-River Science cruise aboard Newburyport Harbor Tours Inc.'s Yankee Clipper through the Merrimack River Estuary!
