On December 15 and 16, Amesbury's beautiful and historic Market Square and Upper Millyard will be the center of a two-day winter celebration. Ring in the season with carolers, ice sculpture demonstrations, horse-drawn carriage rides, an outdoor skating rink, a visit from Santa, and more!
Enjoy the tradition of the Amesbury Massachusetts Holiday parade with your family! This year's theme is Amesbury's 350th Celebration. The parade will begin at 3:30pm from the intersection of Sparhawk and Greenleaf Street. All parade participants will be lined up on Greenleaf Street.

Visit Lowell’s Boat Shop on thei Trails & Sails 2018! Founded in 1793, Lowell's Boat Shop is the oldest continuously operating wooden boat shop in the United States. Now a National Historic Landmark, Lowell's continues to build wooden boats in the traditional method. Located on the banks of the Merrimack River in Amesbury, Lowell's will be welcoming guests to learn more about its unique history and the craft of wooden boat building as it was practiced then and continues to be today.
Come join the Lake Gardener Improvement Association for a guided, narrated hike of the Powow Hill Conservation Area -- the highest peak on the Essex County coast! Our "sensory hike" mirrors the growing movement of what is known as "Forest Bathing", which is essentially taking the time to use your senses to mindfully soak in the nature around you as you explore.

Come to Flatbread Pizza - Amesbury for great wood-fired, home-made flatbread pizza and help Theater in the Open raise funds for their programs! Theater in the Open is dedicated to developing theater skills in kids and young adults for the benefit of the community. Most of their performances are free of charge and are usually performed on-site at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport by local talent. Come enjoy some pizza and help this great community resource continue its mission of developing local talent and creating social bonds through the performing arts!
