Join ECTA Trail Steward Sue McLaughlin (amazing woman and friend of NSK) for a hike through the Chebacco Woods area. Chebacco Road is off Essex St (Rte22) in Hamilton. We will meet at the main entrance on the west side of Chebacco Road. There is parking for about 8 cars at this entrance, and there is more parking at the canoe launch down the road.
Celebrate Earth Day at Green Meadow Farm. Attend one of two classes. Plan Your Garden led by your farmer and Ecology of the Northeastern Forest led by a friend of the farm. GM Farm will have educational tables: a monarch butterfly demonstration, information on vermiculture, a craft using recycled materials and opportunities to recycle shoes and batteries. It's going to be fun! This event is free and open to the public.
