Salem Zombie Walk

The Salem Zombiewalk has been an annual event for a number of years. This is a great family-friendly event will be held in Downtown Salem, MA. Prior to the Zombiewalk, participants gather at Salem Commons for some field day activities, last-minute costume tweaks and alterations, and of course to admire other lovers of the Zombie theme. Then, join the cohort of zombies, and walk with the herd in Salem, MA.

Canceled - The Essex County Greenbelt Association and North Shore Nature Programs to meet some of our favorite critters! Some critters get a bad rap! But there is lots to love about the creepy, wiggly, and crawly creatures in our woods! We'll look for spiders, bugs, centipedes and millipedes, as well as signs of cool predators like owls, coyotes, and weasels.

The spirit of Oktoberfest is taking over Appleton Farms for one very special Saturday! We’ll have unique food offerings from Revelry Food Truck, Whoopie Pie Wagon, and our own wood-fired pizza from the Appleton Culinary Team! There will be lawn games, traditional German Hammerschlagen, a stein-holding competition, local breweries on site, and live music from artists Wunder Kapelle (a traditional German oompah band) and Marina Evans.

Healthy Kids Running Series Fall 2024 | Danvers

Healthy Kids Running Series at Endicott Park in Danvers Massachusetts.

Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids compete each week for a chance to earn points. At the end of the Series the boys and girls who accumulate the most points in their respective distances are awarded trophies.  All participants receive a medal on Week 5!
