PlumFest is a non-profit volunteer-run organization incorporated as a Charitable Foundation to bring local musicians, island residents and visitors together to showcase the natural beauty and artistry that make Plum Island such a special place. As an early participant in the “porch-fest” movement that is gaining popularity nation-wide, PlumFest brings our own unique flavor to the mix, with an event that is sure to please.
Come to a furry fun-filled morning at the Beverly Dog Park! Bring your four-legged friends for a delightful time featuring exciting raffles, adorable on-site painted pet portraits ($), and more. Don’t miss out on the chance to make new friends—both two-legged and four-legged! Please note: For safety reasons, children under the age of 10 are not permitted inside the dog park. Experience the rich cultural heritage of Salem, Massachusetts at the House of Seven Gables ! All are invited to a vibrant celebration of food, music, traditions, and more. Since its founding, The House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association has been dedicated to helping newly immigrated individuals and their families to thrive in the United States. While the groups arriving in Salem have changed over the years, The Gables’ drive to provide guidance and education has not. We are taking this special day to celebrate the backgrounds and cultures of students in the ESL and Citizenship classes at The House of the Seven Gables and how they have contributed to the growth of such a diverse and colorful city.
Take a walk around beautiful Magnolia and enjoy music around every corner! This year there are more porches, more music, and more fun. Gloucester's Lobster Roller, Meats & Sweets, and Holy Cow Ice Cream are all joining us along the way in addition to Magnolia's 525 restaurant, Grillfriends, and JD Myers. Porches will be swingin' from 4 to 6, and the park by our fire station keeps it going until 8. Bring a beach chair or blanket to sit in the park, or dance by the ocean. Free to the public and hosted at Stage Fort Park, the G400+ A Celebration of Place 2-day extravaganza will showcase the rich and diverse cultural history of Gloucester. Festivities will include performances from local singer-songwriters, cultural dance performances, including those by the Wampanoag Nation Singers and Dancers, a collaborative community art project, and booths representative of our cultural communities.

The Pride Picnic is an event created by the Hamilton-Wenham Human Rights Coalition (HWHRC) to celebrate Pride month and uplift the LGBTQ+ community. The first HWHRC Pride Picnic was in June 2021 and received over 400 attendees, with more expected to attend in 2022.
