Motif #1 Day 5k and Kids Fun Run

The Motif #1 5k and kids fun run takes place on Motif #1 Day in Rockport, Massachusetts

This 5k Road Race and Kid's Fun Run is a great way to kick off Motif #1 Day! The 5k road race and 1 mile fun run that starts and ends at T Wharf in beautiful downtown Rockport. Run the race and then spend the day with your family enjoying the fun, food and entertainment of the day-log festival.

The funds raised by the race will go to support health and wellness programs at the Rockport Public Schools Health and Wellness Programs.  Runner and walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. The race will be followed by a day of festivities in downtown Rockport.

The Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger® Food Drive is the outgrowth of the National Association of Letter Carriers’ tradition of community service, a tradition exhibited repeatedly by members of the letter carriers’ union over the years. These carriers, who go into neighborhoods in every town at least six days a week, have always been involved when something needed to be done, whether it be collecting funds for a charity like the Muscular Dystrophy Association, watching over the elderly through the Carrier Alert program, assisting the American Red Cross during time of disaster, or rescuing victims of fires, crime, and other mishaps.

Bluefin Blowout Family 5k to Benefit Alzheimer's Association

The Lyon-Waugh Bluefin Blowout Family Fun 5K will be happen at Stage Fort Park, Gloucester for the Lyon-Waugh Bluefin Blowout Family Fun 5K, benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association! Run, walk, or stroll from Stage Fort Park to Hammond Castle and back to Stage Fort Park for a 5K loop. Enjoy the beautiful Cape Ann waterfront and fresh ocean air while raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association.

The annual Gloucester Pride Stride raises money for Cape Ann non-profits!

The Gloucester Pride Stride is an annual fundraiser walk that helps the non-profits organizations around Cape Ann. Walkers collect sponsorships for their favorite organization, then walk the 5 mile route through downtown Gloucester starting and ending at Stage Fort Park. The Power of the Purse party celebrates the power of women-led philanthropy by raffling beautiful bags, generously donated by individuals and businesses, to raise funds to support nonprofit programs helping to change the lives of women and girls at risk in our communities.

Funds raised support grants program to help women and girls in need throughout Essex County.

Celebrate the 10th annual ywca tri in partnership with the Tough Warrior Princesses and the North of Boston Cancer Resource.  This is a unique, mostly indoor event featuring a 10-minute swim in our indoor lap pool, a 25-minute cycle on a state of the art spin bike, and a 1.5 mile run outdoors on the picturesque Clipper City Rail Trail.  Create a team of friends or family!  One biker, one swimmer, one runner or any combination. Space is limited!
