The Newburyport Education Foundation hosts the Summertime Family Music Festival at Spencer Peirce Little Farm. Enjoy music, vintage baseball, and farm activites featuring decades of American music.This festival celebrates everything from traditional songs to bluegrass, funk, folk, and beyond. Come for the music and stay for the whole day: Watch Vintage Base Ball played by 1861 rules. See tractors and farm equipment spanning the last eighty years. Join Joppa Flats Education Center on the 100th day of the year to celebrate 100 years of Mass Audubon Wildlife Sanctuaries! Enjoy free admission, "ask a naturalist" opportunities, the occasional guided walk around our grounds and free cake! Back in 1916, the Moose Hill Bird Sanctuary was established in Sharon when Dr. George W. Field offered his estate to Mass Audubon to attract birds and people interested in birds. Fast forward to 2016 and there are 56 wildlife sanctuaries to explore in Massachusetts!

NPL Parents' Info Night: Early Intervention

Learn about the services offered by Thom Child and Family Services for early intervention at the Newburyport Library..

A representative from the Pentucket chapter of Thom Child and Family Services will visit the library to talk about Early Intervention services for children ages birth to three with developmental difficulties or those who are at risk for them. Early Intervention is a State and Federally mandated service: there are no out-of-pocket costs to families for early intervention services.
