The Children's Library at invites kids to our "Valentine's Craft Afternoon". Children are invited to come make something special for a loved ones and friends.
Come to the Dolan Performing Arts Center for a showing of Gnomeo and Juliet for Valentine's Day! This fundraiser showing is hosted by the Ipswich Middle School. Everybody is welcome and proceeds help the middle school. Refreshments will be available. Doors open at 6:15pm.
Celebrate Valentines Day the natural way... outdoors! Escape the hearts and join us for an afternoon of skiing or snowshoeing (or hiking if no snow) through Ravenswood's carriage paths of rolling hills and dales. Warm up afterwards around the woodstove with a tasting of Appleton Farms cheeses, local chocolate, and wine. Pre-registration required. Bring your own skis or snowshoes (or rent snowshoes from us).
Parents who can't find a babysitter for Valentine's Day are in luck! the Children's Museum of NH is hosting a Kids Valentine's Night so parents can drop off their children and go out to dinner. In 2014,, the first-ever Kids Valentine's Night at the museum will offer four hours of fun for kids including dinner, educator-led activities and dessert. The program is open to children ages 5 and up, though 4 year olds will be accepted if registered with an older sibling. A maximum of 30 children can participate and pre-registration is required.
Families are invited to share the love in February by attending the second annual Very, Very Valentine’s Dance at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire. Kids and adults will enjoy an evening together at the museum celebrating Valentine's Day with dancing, treats and fun crafts and activities!
