The Danvers YMCA is holding a free community event to inspire more kids to keep their minds and bodies active all summer long. Healthy Kids Day®, the Y’s national initiative to improve families’ health and well-being. Free community event on Saturday, April 26 (12:30-3:00) with fun for the whole family:

The day-long event is celebrated by more than 1.2 million participants nationwide. YMCAs across the country host free community events aimed to inspire kids to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months.

You will find a diverse collection of health & wellness professionals offering interactive displays and complimentary health screenings to the public. Come celebrate the first day of summer at this one-time Farmers Market on the Ipswich Middle Green! We'll have local produce, tasty treats, live music from Bottles and Cans, native plants for your garden, local crafts and more! We're running this on a volunteer basis in an effort to keep the spirit of the Market alive. Please share this event so we can get a great crowd! We hope to do it again this year if it's a success!
