Race to Nowhere Screening in Manchester

Race to Nowhere is a critically acclaimed film about the pressures of US Schools

Do you feel like your kids are on a race through their childhood in school? The Manchester Memorial Elementary School 5th Grade Class will host a screening of the critically acclaimed 'Race to Nowhere', where a concerned mother turned filmmaker aims her camera at the culture of hollow achievement and pressure to perform that has invaded America’s schools. It is destroying our children’s love of learning and feeding an epidemic of unprepared, disengaged, and unhealthy students. This film focuses on the issues facing children in the school systems of America today, and leaves you thinking about what it really takes to produce a happy, motivated, creative human being.
