Come enjoy some fun activities in the library side yard! Bring a teddy bear to join in the picnic! We'll have crafts, activities and a teddy bear snack!
Great for ages 3 - 9. Registration is required for this vacation week activity!

Amesbury's own Ryan Fitzsimmons will play americana-rock originals and covers. He has toured all over New England and beyond, appearing at venues such as the Newport Folk Festival & Club Passim, winning the awards "Best Male Vocalist" and "Favorite Local Rock Band" along the way. His songs that are “as authentic and emotion driven as they come” (thanks Redline Roots). Kara Kulpa will join him on fiddle and mandolin.

Don't throw your pumpkins away after Halloween, compost them! One day only - bring your pumpkin to the Amesbury Compost Facility - no sticker needed. More than 1 BILLION pounds of pumpkin get thrown away every year. Composting pumpkins can be used for parks, gardens and farms.

Have you ever been to a model rocket launch? There's plenty to learn and a lot to watch! CMASS will hold a Model Rocket Launch at Woodsom Farm Park in Amesbury, MA. The public are welcome. Event sponsored by Central Massachusetts Spacemodeling Society. Please observe Launch Etiquette for safety and enjoyable experience.

Come to Cider Hill Farm to create your own crowns with floral expert, Magnolia Blooms. Begin by cutting your own 6 stems in the garden. Take blooms to the nearby flower tent to create your own crown! Come anytime from 10 - 12. Demos will run every 15 min. Leave with your own custom crown and know-how to make crowns at home!

Amesbury Public Library hosts a stuffy sleepover! Bring a stuffie to the Library in celebration of Spring! They will spend the night, have some fun, and you'll hear about it in the morning with a special note just to you as well photos of their time spent with other stuffie friends! Great for kids aged 0 - 10 years old!

Amesbury Sports Park will be hosting the 1st annual Helicopter Egg Drop-Palooza fundraising event for Lucy's Love Bus! 30,000 eggs full of treats and prizes, helicopter rides, pony rides, Bunny Hop Dance-Off, face painting, egg dyeing and a performance by AHMIR will all be part of the celebration! There's a limit of 5,000 tickets for this family-friendly event, so get your tickets today!

Miss Lisa of the Joppa Flats Education Center visits Amesbury Public Library each month for a 1 hour program focused on pre-schoolers! Participants will be engaged, excited, and learning about all kinds of things in nature. Each program is an hour long and includes hands-on activities, group role play, and fun take homes. Register for each program separately.
