Brookwood School is excited to announce its upcoming Open Classrooms event for prospective families.There's nothing like seeing Brookwood faculty and students in action! Our open classrooms event is designed for parents who are interested in visiting classes and experiencing a morning at Brookwood. Kids applying to grades 5-8 are welcome to join their parents, if interested. A full schedule of classes will be available during the event and will feature a variety of disciplines and grade levels.
Join Jim Parks with 5-6 of his amazing birds, including hawks, falcons, and owls. Parks has been licensed to rehabilitate injured raptors (birds of prey) for decades and brings excellent knowledge and respect of their role in the wild. Ages 6 through adult. Registration required.
Come to the Children's Room for a reading of Rescue & Jessica: a Life-Changing Friendship by Jessica Kensky and Patrick Downes. We will meet Gus, a Certified Reading Partner and Therapy Dog, and learn about his special training and abilities.

Join us at Manchester Public Library for Movie Night! Valentine’s Day is soon. Join us for a romantic movie that was filmed in Manchester. For three years, Andrew Paxton has slaved as the assistant to Margaret Tate, hard-driving editor at a New York publisher. When Margaret, a Canadian, faces deportation for an expired visa, she hatches a scheme to marry Andrew. Andrew had plans to fly home for the weekend for his grandma's 90th, so Margaret goes with him - to Sitka, Alaska. Brookwood School invites you to attend its upcoming admissions open house during which families can tour the school, meet faculty, attend an information program with Head of School Laura Caron and hear from Grade 8 students.

On Monday, January 28, 2019 from 8:45-11:30 a.m., interested parents of children entering grades PreK through 8 are invited to the school to enjoy a morning of sampling classes. A full schedule of classes will be available during the event and will feature a variety of disciplines and grade levels.
Manchester Bike and Pedestrian Committee together with Manchester-Essex Rotary Club are sponsoring a bike safety rodeo! Kids ages 5-14 are encouraged to bring their bikes for a bike and helmet safety check. This event will focus on safety tips and training, with an obstacle course and bike handling skills instruction. Snacks will be provided. Sign up via email, or on the day of the event!
