Draw Me a Story: Monsters with Ed & Rebecca Emberley

Beloved local author and illustrator Ed Emberley and his daughter Rebecca present a special exhibit of illustrations from their collection of frightfully-friendly Monster books. This award-winning author-illlustrator team uses brightly colored simple geometric shapes and thumbprints to teach young artists the basics of drawing. Young visitors will delight in the silly stories and playful images the Emberly's use to help demystify the imaginary world of monsters.

Train Time 17 Model Train Exhibition

Train Time 17 at Wenham Museum is fun for the whole family!

Have a “rail” fun time watching trains traversing bridges, disappearing into tunnels, and stopping to pick up tiny passengers along the way as we celebrate the art of miniature railroading. Train fans will delight in two room-size model train layouts with engines racing around a 400+ square foot O-Gauge track reminiscent of holiday department store displays and a 1920s Standard Gauge layout.

Notre Dame Children's Class Annual Yard Sale

Notre Dame Children's Class Annual Yard Sale a charity fundraiser in Wenham.

Notre Dame Children's Class will hold its huge annual YARD SALE on Saturday October 13, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the school, located at 74 Grapevine Road in Wenham, Massachusetts. The Sale is free, handicapped accessible, and will take place rain or shine. All sales will be final.

Lego Sculpture Exhibit Entries Now being Registered

Entries are now being accepted for the LEGO Sculpture Exhibit at Wenham Museum

Wenham Museum is planning a LEGO exhibition in September and they want to show off your LEGO sculpture! Only 63 entires will be accepted and shown on a first come first serve basis, so act now and enter early to ensure yourself a spot.  There's some incredible art being created with LEGO, so if you have the artistic ability to pull off a sculpture made entirely out of LEGO, share it with your community!
