Get into the holiday season by creating your own evergreen wreath! Kids will craft their 16" wreaths by hand using local greenery, winter berries, fallen cones, holly leaves, ribbon, and more! Materials and instruction included. Parents are encouraged to attend but wreath making is for kids only please. We'll also talk turkey, covering tips on safe handling, roasting, stuffing, and carving. Our workshop ends with our very own Thanksgiving dinner in the old farmhouse dining room. Run through Boo-tiful Historic Salem! Get your best running costume ready for the 11th running of this annual Salem Haunted Happenings Event. A great way to begin your day of Halloween fun in Salem. Let the kids join the Halloween costume fun with the Spooktacular Kids Broom Dash. Post-race awards, costume contest, music, photos, refreshments and more.
Children with special needs and their families are invited to a special photo session with Caring Bunny in an environment set up to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children with all abilities. Many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s cherished visit with the Bunny. The subdued environment is likely to include (specific elements or aesthetics may vary):
- Turning off in-mall music, stopping escalators located near the photo set, dimming the lights and shutting down fountains for the duration of the event.
- Eliminating queue lines through the use of a numbering system whereby guests approach the set when their number is called.
- Special activities geared toward the needs of the child during the ‘wait’ period to help the child understand what activities will occur during the visit.
The photo session will take place in the Lower Level of the Nordstrom wing.
Northshore Mall is in the spring spirit, celebrating the season with the Easter Bunny himself who is now at the mall and is gearing up for a very egg-citing event taking place. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 8, 2017, 9:00 – 10:30a.m.
Northshore Mall will host Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! Children can also participate in spring-themed craft-making activities. Guests will also receive special Easter gift.
Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat will be visiting the Children's Museum of New Hampshire to greet young fans and help promote the love of reading via the Books Alive program. At this Books Alive event, museum staff will be reading Curious George stories by Margret and Hans “H.A.” Rey throughout the day. The friendly costumed monkey character, accompanied by the Man with the Yellow Hat, will be popping in and out to greet children, exchange a hug or high-five, and pose for photos.
Hop over to Tupper Manor and celebrate Easter Sunday with a bountiful brunch. Savor the Chef’s Carving Station while enjoying the historic atmosphere of Tupper Manor and ocean views.
Families will enjoy a visit from the Easter Bunny and the return of the Easter Egg Hunt.

On Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Waldorf School at Moraine Farm in Beverly MA will host an Easter egg decorating and dyeing event. Kids will create pretty eggs with a variety of coloring ideas and embellishments with all sorts of crafts supplies. Kids can create Easter eggs as fun, interesting, and unique as they are!
