Musicians Mike and Beverly Rogers will be at the Manchester Public Library on Saturday, January 26th, 11 AM with a Harmonica Workshop for adults and children ages 8 and older. Everyone attending will not only hear the harmonica stylings of this musical duo, but will receive a harmonica lesson at the workshop to get you started with your very own harmonica to take home!

They first gained infamy conducting musical sticks-ups in the subways of New York City with their three part-harmony and nostalgic sensibilities. Wielding cello, guitars, melodious three part harmony, not to mention various and sundry toys, they are sure to charm the socks off of folks young, old, and everywhere in between!

Backpack Babies is a program that encourages caregivers to explore the natural world with their babies and toddlers. Bring your backpack/frontpack or jogging stroller and explore the meadows, forests, and wetlands with your baby in this four-session series. Each class will begin indoors with a nature book and a few lap rhymes, songs, and games about the topic of the day. Then we'll go outside for a closer look at nature's gifts with our:

The Perseids meteor shower is one of the main celestial events of the summer, with peak meteor viewing at up to 60 per hour! Join us for a hike along the Beach – and bring a blanket so you can stretch out on the sand for optimal viewing. We’ll keep our energy up with s’mores and lemonade around a bonfire.
