Trustees of Tattersall Farm are hosting a free guinea pig petting zoo and Animal Adoption Day at the Farm, 542 North Broadway, on Sunday, June 13, from noon to 3 p.m. Sheep, bunny, minihorse, and dog rescue leagues will be included. This event will help area rescue leagues to find loving homes for their various animals. Stop by and see these adorable animals!
Join the Cape Ann Museum’s Teen Art Council at CAM Green to celebrate teen artists from the North Shore. Open to ages 13-19, the Teen Arts Night includes live music, field games, and art activities. This new event series was created by the Teens Arts Council to connect young artists from local communities and engage teens with the Cape Ann Museum.

On Saturday, September 25, 2021, the Cape Ann Museum is presenting an opening community celebration for the Cape Ann Museum Green. Finished in 2020, the CAM Green was used for innovative projects during the COVID Pandemic. The Museum is excited to be able to invite the public to explore this new community and cultural resource. Spend the day picnicking on the Green, learning about the historic houses, viewing art in the Janet + William Ellery James Center, and making art of your own!

The Historic Beverly Community Art Show consistently opens to rave reviews and this year will be like no other. Reserve a timed entrance for you and your family to follow the Museum's new family-friendly guide, Cassie the Sea Serpent, through the galleries. Inspired by the Cape Ann Sea Serpent, which was seen by hundreds in Gloucester Harbor between 1817-1819, Cassie poses questions and activities for students of all ages to engage with the collection. During April Vacation Week, all visitors will receive a free copy of Cassie’s Scavenger Hunt with activities and crayons included.
WE = NBPT hosts their 3rd annual Winter Festival inside the heated tent at the The Tannery Marketplace in downtown Newburyport, Massachusetts! As always, this event will be showcasing all things that are created by the good people of Newburyport, MA! From the musical performers, to the visual artists, to the beer, to the food, to the raffle prizes, and to everything else involved, Newburyport is home.
A fun-filled day for the whole family about everything from our ocean giants (whales, sharks, sea turtles) to deep sea creatures (octopuses, jellies)! For age 2-6, there are take-home crafts, an under the sea play zone, stuffies, coloring books and simple table-top science. For ages 7 and older, there are displays and interactives about overfishing, microplastics, sea level rise and climate change. Indoors and out. Rain or shine.
