Lifetime professional physics demonstrator David Maiullo brings his scientific entertainment from the world of physics to the Off-broadway stage in That Physics Show! The show features live segments on motion, momentum, vacuum, friction, energy, density, fluid motion, sound/waves/vibration, light waves, temperatures and may more from the world in which we live, a world controlled by physics.

His spirited bilingual performances aim to help children see each other across borders and foster cross-cultural connections.

Mil’s Trills is a Brooklyn-based children’s music project dedicated to creating positive inclusive experiences that strive to empower and embrace young audiences and families through music. Through joyful live shows, albums and their new collaborative songwriting web series, they work to find new creative ways of bringing people together towards a peaceful global community.
Tupac Mantilla at Rockport Music
Sowah Mensah is an ethnomusicologist, composer and a “Master Drummer” from Ghana, West Africa. Sowah has taught music in both Ghana and Nigeria and is currently a music professor at both Macalester College, and the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN where he also directs each school’s African Music Ensemble. In addition, he is currently a James Marsh Professor-at-Large at the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT and directs the African Music Ensemble at the University of Minnesota. Sowah is the director of Sankofa, a Ghanaian Folklore and Dance Ensemble in the Twin Cities and a member of Speaking in Tongues, a four-piece group based out of the Twin Cities that uses two percussionists, a bassist and a Chinese pipa player. The Brass Project at Rockport Music
The Brass Project is a brass sextet formed by leading players from the Curtis Institute. These “six superb Curtis brass players” (Philadelphia Inquirer) united around a shared set of multifaceted goals: to expand the repertoire for chamber brass, to record and distribute new works, and to engage with a wide community through outreach and educational programs. The Brass Project gives innovative and creative performances designed for a diverse demographic by performing repertoire specifically commissioned by the ensemble. Free, no tickets required.

Phillips Academy Choral Concert
The Phillips Academy Department of Music will present the Academy Chorus, Fidelio Society, and Chamber Orchestra in concert under the direction of Dr. Abbey H. Siegfried. Entitled “The Road Less Traveled,” this concert offers an assortment of American and Portuguese songs.
