The Essex Lion's Club hosts the annual turkey trot in beautiful Essex Massachusetts! This year the race is a 5K, and a fun walk. Race starts at 11:00am for runners and 10am for walkers. Registration is at Woodman’s Restaurant (upstairs), 121 Main Street, Essex, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, or pre-register online.
Start your turkey day by burning off some calories with a run or walk along the Ipswich River on Turkey Shore Drive and Labor-in-Vain-Road and you'll have a chance to win a ready-to-bake pie from Russell Orchards! Racers, runners, walkers or stroller pushers are invited to the Ipswich Town Hall bright and early on Thanksgiving Day for a 2.8 mile riverside race along Turkey Shore Drive and Labor in Vain Road. The 1.2 mile kids run starts at 8am.
The Run for the Troops 5k walk/run honors our military and help build homes designed for the unique injuries of specific soldiers. Run for the Troops has also partnered with Race Roster for a virtual 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for Home for our Troops,Ironstone Farm;and Homeland Heroes and we thank you for your participation.
Every body can do it... Join us for a fun start to Tri season. Celebrate the 10th annual ywca tri in partnership with the Tough Warrior Princesses and the North of Boston Cancer Resource. This is a unique, mostly indoor event featuring a 10-minute swim in our indoor lap pool, a 25-minute cycle on a state of the art spin bike, and a 1.5 mile run outdoors on the picturesque Clipper City Rail Trail. Create a team of friends or family! One biker, one swimmer, one runner or any combination. Space is limited!
The Topsfield Fair is a perennial favorite for us. We love fruits and vegetables, and are always on the lookout for the winning 'biggest pumpkin'. Another favorite is checking out the pigs and other farm animals, as well as the interesting variety of guinea pigs and rabbits.
The Purple Heart Trail 10K and Fun Run will be held the weekend after Veterans Day on Sunday, November 14, 2021. In honor of all our military past and present the 10K route is from the Patton Homestead to Patton Park (and back). The midway point loops around the Sherman tank in Patton Park.
Run 5K and Half Marathon - or both races Back-to-Back! Come enjoy beautiful ocean views as you run along the scenic coastline of Great Neck and race towards our huge finish line arch! On the course you'll race past some of the oldest and most historical homes (pre-revolution) in the entire country. You'll also enjoy some breathtaking ocean views in this charming coastal community.
Calling all superheroes! We're back LIVE, IN PERSON at True North Brewery, where this event started in 2019!!! Join us this October 2nd in your favorite superhero costume as we raise funds to advance CMV Legislation in MA through research, advocacy, education, and lobbying.

GNOCA's 5K Run/Walk in Honor of Jackie Poor & Paula Holm is a 5k Run or Family Friendly Stroll through Scenic Newburyport starting & ending at Michael's Harborside. Tee Shirts will be given to the First 100 Registrants. All participating runners will be assigned numbers and timed. Great Prizes for Age Category Winners!
