Our annual Friends' Spring Book Sale takes place daily at the main library from Saturday, Saturday May 10 through May 17. The sale will be open daily during regular library hours: Mon.-Thurs., 9AM-9PM; Fri. & Sat., 9AM-5PM.  Paperbacks are $1, hardcovers $2, and all children's books are .50. Don't miss this great opportunity to stock up on great reads! All book sale proceeds benefit the library. Bag/Box Day: Saturday, May 17 from 9 AM-12 PM. (Please bring your own bag/box.)

You may see Santa, his elves and others in festive costume… By participating, you’re not just running a race—you’re supporting the Y’s mission to strengthen our community. Your involvement helps ensure that programs like swim safety, childcare, and youth development remain accessible to everyone who needs them. Your commitment to this event helps support the Greater Beverly YMCA.

Engage your curious budding gardener or adventurer in our new Little Sprouts in the Garden series, a monthly themed program to connect your child with the natural world around us.  As the snow begins to melt with spring around the corner, it may be too cold for fresh flowers or green grass in the gardens! In the meantime, bring some green life inside your house with a terrarium workshop to create a miniature natural world! Participants will learn about plant care and life cycle basics and leave with a mini terrarium of their own. Recommended for ages 6-10 but all are welcome. An adult must attend but there is no additional charge.

Alastair Moock and Friends return to the Cabot with their unique brand of upbeat, socially-conscious Americana music for all ages! Joining them for this special performance is the Teen Tour Choir of Boston City Singers from Dorchester, MA. Moock, a Grammy-nominated family musician, has worked closely with Boston City Singers for years, ever since his daughter joined the group in second grade.
