Come join the Recreation Department the Marblehead Family Fund for the annual indoor winter carnival. There will be carnival games, a bounce house, giant slidecrafts and more!. This is a wonderful way to break up the monotomy of a cold New England winter and spend a day in town with the family, so bring the family for an afternoon of fun! Funds raised will go towards the Rebuild of the Hobbs Playground!

The annual Middle Street Walk 2024 wraps up every year with the lighting of the lobster trap Christmas tree in Gloucester Massachusetts! Stop by Cape Ann Art Haven for a Holiday Party with hot chocolate, sweet treats, kids' crafts, holiday photos, face painting live music. Caroling starts at 4:30pm, followed by the tree lighting across the street at 5pm. Come find your buoy hanging on the tree, enjoy caroling, seeing the star put on the tree join us for the countdown and celebrate the season with the lighting of our Lobster Trap Tree!

Come to the Rowley Town Common for an afternoon of family fun! Admission to the event is FREE with a non-perishable donation to the Rowley Food Pantry, which will be collected at event check-in. Planned Activities include: Pumpkin Bowling, Corn Hole, Basket Ball shoot out, Skee Ball, Dunking Booth, Football Toss, Pony Rides and many more fun games and activities for the whole family. There have been many uses for wool throughout history and across cultures dating back as far as 6000 B.C.E. Wool is made from the hair or fleece of certain animals such as sheep, goats, llamas - and even rabbits! Come explore where wool comes from as part of PEM's ongoing Art Materials and Creative Experience program.
