Maudslay State Park has a volunteer program that's a perfect pick for 11 & 12 year olds called Junior Ranger Stewards, part of the Nature Discovery 2 for 1! program.

It’s Spring at Maudslay State Park , and our park is warming up! Join the park interpreter weekly for a leisurely afternoon stroll to experience the spring flora and fauna at Maudslay.  Rain or shine. Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water, bug spray recommended. 

The TOHP Burnham Public Library in Essex invites kids, ages 3-5, to join April on the lawn for stories, songs, fingerplays and a take-home craft (while supplies last). Koto’s Stormy and Calm Seas a new piece commissioned by the Cape Ann Symphony is a musical depiction of the ocean during a storm and the calm that comes afterwards.
