This free, hands-on, community art experience is primarily geared toward children under 10 years of age and children must be accompanied by an adult. The line-up of projects this year include play-dough making, decorative wands, creating musical instruments, and Doodle Top drawing which captures a “playful art” theme for a celebration packed with fun.
Arts Fest Beverly is a free outdoor festival that's fun for the whole family! Rain or shine. Shop from juried fine artists and crafters and enjoy music and free kids activities! The event is free and open to the public. Artists will be selling bags, candles, ceramics, pottery, children’s items, clothing, furniture, glass, home decor, housewares, jewelry, paintings, pet gear, photographs, prints, soap, vintage items and more. Artists come from all over New England and right here in Beverly, including some of your favorite artists from last year, and new and emerging artists.
Ages 11-16: Boston-based author/illustrator Jonathan Todd (the upcoming Scholastic graphic novel “Timid") is back, this time for a two-hour workshop on writing and drawing cartoons geared for laughs. Join park staff from the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge for a full day of FREE family fun that's focused on outdoor activity! Parker River NWR and their community partners are excited to welcome community members the annual Let's Go Outside event. This year we will celebrate Let's Go Outside as an Open Streets event. This means the refuge road will be temporarily transformed into a car-free zone for visitors to bike, walk, roll, and play! Parking will be provided at the refuge visitor center and Lot 1, and free shuttle service will be provided between key locations.

The day-long event is celebrated by more than 1.2 million participants nationwide. YMCAs across the country host free community events aimed to inspire kids to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months.

At the Riverside Community Center on corner of Veterans Way and Patriots Circle, we will have all the supplies for a family to create art together! This is not a drop off event. All proceeds will go to benefit the Magnolia Historical Society.
