The Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham invites children to bring their own flashlight or glowsticks for the tree and gazebo lighting and a Christmas Carol Sing for all ages! Brian Doser and Joe Scuderi, along with a few special guests, team up for an exciting evening of caroling and lighting of The Community House, the gazebo in Patton Park and the Christmas Tree at People’s United Bank on Railroad Avenue with cookies and cocoa! Children are encouraged to bring their own flashlight or glowsticks. A great way to kick off your Christmas celebrations. Booklets of carols are provided.

Santa Claus will arrive at the top of the Hawthorne Hotel (18 Washington Square W) promptly at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, with assistance from the Salem Fire Department, of course. Gather your family and friends and come over to the Firehouse for a little old-fashioned Holiday Sing-Along to kick off your Holidays with music! The Youth Choir from the Immaculate Conception Church (Newburyport), directed by Donna Postle, will be there to lead everyone in singing some well-loved carols, with music provided by John Metrano on piano. Our favorite elf, Terry Blanchard, will once again read “ ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” while wearing his famous stocking cap knit exclusively for this annual presentation by the North Pole’s very talented Mrs. Elf.
Gloucester's Holiday Parade has been a is a great tradition to kick off the holidays! Come enjoy the parade, Santa, and the tree lighting at Kent Circle! Volunteers will line up parade participants at the State Fish Pier on Parker Street at 2:00 PM and will guide them through downtown Gloucester and on to Kent Circle for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.
Beverly’s annual Holiday Parade will be held Sunday, November 25, 2018. Marching bands, log rollers, majorettes, fire engines and dozens of community floats will join the guest of honor, Santa Claus, to make this a spectacular parade! It’s also a tradition for the parade committee to designate local organizations to benefit from items collected at the parade as well as portions of the funds raised at the event. Every Year the Beverly Holiday likes to Pay It Forward by raising awareness or donations for a local wonderful charitable cause.
