The Christmas Walk Parade takes place after Santa Arrives in Marblehead. The parade begins at 11:45am at the State Street Landing and will run along Washington Street, Atlantic Avenue and Pleasant Street.
Come to the State Street Landing in Downtown Marblehead to welcome Santa as he arrives by lobster boat! There's plenty of photo ops and Santa's arrival is followed by the Christmas Walk Parade.
The Annual Marblehead Museum Pumpkin Illumination in collaboration with the Marblehead Family Fund will take place in the Jeremiah Lee Mansion Gardens. All carved, painted and decorated pumpkins welcome. Judging by town “celebrity” judges for categories with prizes. All the town goblins and ghouls will want to stop by to take a peek at these wild creations during the town-wide Trick or Treat. Live music by Karen K and the Jitterbugs
The Marblehead Chamber of Commerce will host a Trick or Treat night at participating stores throughout town in celebration of Halloween. Take the kids out trick or treating throughout the business district and enjoy sweets and treats, spooky savings & extended shopping hours at participating businesses throughout town.
The Marblehead Farmer's Market boasts 15+ local farms, and booths with an educational spin nutrition, vendors and farms selling homemade prepared goods and craft vendors that are switched up in a rotation basis week to week. Additionally there are entertainers and exhibits by environmentally conscious organizations and non-profits.
Tower School, an independent day school located in Marblehead, serving pre-k through grade 8, celebrates harvest time through family-friendly field games, nature-based explorations in its science labs and art studios—and of course, with FOOD!

The celebration of “Marblehead Spirit Day 2018” on Saturday, September 15, will feature free presentations and activities with noted Marblehead speakers and historians at five Marblehead locations from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Abbot Hall, Jeremiah Lee Museum and Marblehead Museum, The Old Town House and G.A.R./Civil War Museum, Tucker’s Wharf, and Fort Sewall with Glover’s Marblehead Regiment and the crew members of USS Constitution. Take this tour of Abbot Hall as part of Trails & Sails 2018 and explore Marblehead's history in the early American Revolution. WPA Murals showing highlights of the town's history from the 1600s to modern times are a priceless social and artistic heritage from the 1930s national W.P.A. (Works Progress / Projects Administration) program for artists and workers' relief. A wide array of the town’s collections are always on display when Abbot Hall is open. Now in its 52nd year, the Marblehead Festival of Arts has had a rich history in producing an annual summer arts Festival over the July 4th holiday week. This premier Festival hosts art exhibits in Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Mixed Media, Printmaking, Photography, Crafts, Plein aire Painting, Senior Art, Student Art and Youth Art. There's also a lot of great events and activities geared toward keeping kids and families engaged and entertained!
