A critical element of the Marblehead community needs our support. Piper field, a multi-purpose turf field at MHS, is utilized by organizations well beyond MHS Athletics. It is a staple for graduation ceremonies, the Marblehead Band, High School and Youth Soccer, Lacrosse, Cheer, Football, Field Hockey, Flag Football, Adult Men’s Soccer, Unified Athletics, student gatherings, camps, and more.
Join Discover Marblehead and Marblehead Museum for the Fourth Annual FALL FAIR! The event is on Saturday, October 14th from 10am - 2pm in the Lee Mansion Gardens in Marblehead, MA. Featuring local Artists, Music and fun activities! Stroll the gardens, mingle and shop with featured local artisans and purchase a mini pumpkin kit to support the Marblehead Food Pantry! Get your portrait done by an Acorn Gallery student or play some lawn games with the kids! Music by Paul Simonelli, beverages by Bubble Bar Boston and hot dogs by Mad-Dogz! It's always a fun day! Did you know the famous painting The Spirit of '76 painting resides at Abbot Hall in Marblehead? Have some family fun at Marblehead’s historic Abbot Hall! The Marblehead Historical Commission has released a scavenger hunt that takes visitors of all ages through the first and second floors of Abbot Hall searching for objects that represent Marblehead history. It’s interesting to walk through the town hall, built in 1876, to find many objects that help us understand the past.
Travel through time with the Jeremiah Lee Mansion in Marblehead! Meghan Boehmer, an historical interpreter from the Boston Tea Party Museum, will portray Sarah Griste Mugford, the wife of Revolutionary naval hero James Mugford.

The markets vary from town to town, and in addtion to the farm goods, you'll enjoy live music, craft and other vendors, and some even have activities to keep the kids busy while you shop!
Every year, Glover's Regiment hosts a summer encampment at Marblehead's historic Fort Sewall. This picturesque fort sits on a rock bluff overlooking Marblehead Harbor and Salem Bay, providing a stunning backdrop for the event. Inside the fort's bowl-shaped area, the regiment sets up a Colonial camp. Tents, cooking fires, and a dining fly create an authentic atmosphere.
Independence Day in Marblehead is a full-day affair along the picturesque harbor front. Start the day at 10 am with the Horribles Parade, a whimsical procession of unique and often creatively opinionated homemade floats, accompanied by lively music and other festive elements. As the day progresses, the waterfront and downtown come alive with music, food, and family-friendly activities. The day culminates with the Harbor Illumination and Fireworks.
This popular event begins with a workshop where participants construct model boats from kits that are provided at the Lee Mansion Gardens, and ends with a competetive regatta at Redd's Pond. BRING THE KIDS - BRING YOUR FOLKS - BUILD & SAIL YOUR VERY OWN BOAT! These small treasures are more than just toys, they really sail. This is a fun, educational activity the whole family will enjoy.
