Fortune will fill the waterfront with music for Yankee Homecoming in Newburyport Massachusetts! For well over two decades, Fortune has regularly packed venues throughout New England. Hailing from Peabody, MA, this 6-piece band has long maintained a reputation for smooth three and four part vocal harmonies, dynamic and melodic textures of multiple guitars and keyboards, and a tight rhythm section.

Olde Fashioned Sunday in Downtown Newburyport will be a great day to remember the beginnings of our Yankee Homecoming celebrations. Come enjoy some “new” events to help make future memories for the current younger generations as the past has given some of us the “good ole’ days” to remember.

The Newburyport Yankee Homecoming is a chance for folks to cheer the servers from their favorite Newburyport establishment as they race in a test of skill and speed while carrying a loaded tray. Now in its 32^nd year, this one mile road race, occurring during Newburyport's Historic Yankee Homecoming Festival. It features multiple races including a children's heat with medals for all the little finishers! Cash prizes for overall and age group winners! There will be snacks and beverages at the finish line and beer tickets for a free beer and post race viewing party at the Winner's Circle Sport's Bar post race! Proceeds to benefit Winner's Circle Running Club and Newburyport All-Sports Boosters.
