The annual Rockport Harvestfest celebration features the best regional bounty of the season — all in an unbeatable setting. New England food producers gather under a giant tent on one of Rockport’s historic working wharves to celebrate the best of local food with fresh lobster, chowder, pastries, grass-fed beef, wood-fired pizza, small-batch jams, locally-grown produce and more. Local craft beers and wine produced in Massachusetts are on hand, along with Rockport’s own Twin Lights, with soda crafted from the 120-year-old company’s original recipes.
Historic Stage Fort Park along Gloucester Harbor is the perfect setting for a concert with the Compaq Big Band featuring all of the Cape Ann Jazz Divas - Marina Evans, Renee Dupuis, and Alexandra Grace. Marina, Renee, and Alexandra will all be performing solo jazz and swing charts in front of the band as recorded by Ella Fitzgerald, Diane Schuur, Natalie Cole, Peggy Lee, Queen Latifah, Tierney Sutton and more! Step back in time on Sunday, July 11 as Hammond Castle Museum is filled with the sounds of traditional medieval, renaissance, and Celtic music from four New England music groups. Performing in and around the Castle, the groups will be performing through out the day. Offsite parking will be available in addition to Museum parking.

A fun-filled day for the whole family about everything from our ocean giants (whales, sharks, sea turtles) to deep sea creatures (octopuses, jellies)! For age 2-6, there are take-home crafts, an under the sea play zone, stuffies, coloring books and simple table-top science. For ages 7 and older, there are displays and interactives about overfishing, microplastics, sea level rise and climate change. Indoors and out. Rain or shine.
