The North Shore Cancer RUN will feature a 5K and 10K road race starting at the Cove Community Center in Beverly, MA. Both routes are along the scenic Beverly coast and are “out and back” courses. The cost to participate is $30 prior to the race, $40 on race day.
Come be a part of the Fueled By Fitness 5k & Kids Fun Run! Race and Kids Fun Run registration begins at 7:30 am at the North Beverly Elementary School. The 5k is a wheel-measured course and travels through many North Beverly neighborhoods and will include water stations.There will be a race warm up that begins at 8:15 am. Kids Fun Run will begin at 8:30 am and the 5K begins at 9:00 am. T-shirts for all 5K runners. T-shirts for Kids Fun Run will be available for purchase on race day.
Waldorf School at Moraine Farm hosts their first ever 5K trail race through Moraine Farm! This is an exclusive opportunity to run on this private property, thanks to our Moraine Farm partners at Project Adventure. After the run enjoy a healthy picnic celebration with music, games and fun. Your registration fee includes a lunch ticket. Alternately, if you are not a runner and would like to participate in the picnic celebration, you can purchase a $10 meal ticket through the registration link below.
A free youth fitness class run by Beverly High School volunteers. Children are welcome to attend any number of the classes. Growing Strong is a new, free, youth program that aims to provide a welcoming, social environment for children to begin a healthy lifestyle. Fitness is so important, especially for young children. It not only benefits a child’s overall physical health but also improves self esteem, concentration and decreases stress.
Join Historic Beverly for a walking tour of Fish Flake Hill Historic District! The historic structures of the oldest area of the city, Fish Flake Hill, are the sites of the town’s revolutionary and early maritime industries, and home to many of Beverly’s merchants and sea captains. This area was also the town’s primary business district into the mid-19th century.

Join the Beverly Recreation Department at Lynch Park for Tiny Tots Day 2023, a fun and free family event organized by the Bev Rec Staff. Bring your children aged 1-5 for cool activities and crafts. Play in the splash pad, decorate cookies, and get your face painted [Artist TBD]. You can even try doing all three at once! Enjoy crazy games or sit back and listen to fun songs at the concert. The sharks and the jets are rival gangs fighting for the same territory. Free! Fun safety course, bike inspections, and free helmets in the parking lot at Lynch Park. This event is sponsored by the Beverly Kiwanis and the Beverly Police Department. All who attend will be instructed in bicycle safety, and all can participate in a safety obstacle course. There will also be bike inspections, free helmets (quantities limited) and more!
