Kids who love to cook are invited to test their skill at the Children’s Museum of NH’s fourth annual Mini Iron Chef Challenge on Sunday, March 9. This event is sponsored by Hannaford Supermarkets as part of the FoodWorks partnership that Hannaford created with the museum.
Sawyer Free Library is hosts Grace Rose Papp, Miss Massachusetts High School America, for a 'Crown that C.A.R.E.S' presentation for elementary school aged kids! Grace is a multi-talented young woman who tours the state delivering the C.A.R.E.S (Create a Respectful Environment in Schools) program's message to kids. The program teaches kids skills for dealing with bullying and harassment prevention. Grace teaches tolerance for a safe and bully-free environment at school.

Joppa Flats Summer Camp is the perfect place for youth with an interest in and curiosity about the world around them. Their weekly summer themes offer a wide range of topics – everything from oceans to birds to nature art – as well as opportunities for children to experience hands-on science, discuss reasons “why” and “how” things happen, handle live animals, explore the outdoors, and create art projects to take home. Joppa Flats programs stress environmental awareness, having fun, and learning, both indoors and out. The Manchester Sailing Association offers sailing lessons for children and adults of all ability levels. MSA is a community sailing program open to both residents and non-residents of Manchester. The program takes place at scenic Tuck's Point and on the docks of the Manchester Yacht Club, with easy access to the Manchester Harbor and surrounding waters.

Gloucester Stage Youth Acting Workshops starts the Summer Session of Acting Workshops for children ages 6 to 18 on Friday, July 12. The six week Youth Acting Workshop Summer Session, meets on Fridays for two hours per week from July 12 - August 16 and the students are divided in classes according to age. Class size is limited for all classes and registration is on a first come basis.
