'Birders' Film benefit for Kestrel Adventures

The Cape Ann Community Cinemawill be hosting a showing of the film 'Birders: the Central Park Effect' to benefit Kestrel Educational Aventures! 'Birders is a film that celebrates the diversity of birds that live in and migrate through New York's Central Park and the New Yorkers who make birding in Central Park part of their lives. Come see this fascinating film and help raise funds for a unique local organization at the same time!

Bowling for Kendall is a fundraiser to raise money for the Spina Bifida Walk n' Roll - Team Kendall. $20 admission will get you shoes and 3 strings of bowling. Food and drinks available at the bowling alley for an additional price. Team Kendall will get 50% of the proceeds which will go directly to Spina Bifida Association of Greater New England!

At this Pathways for Children hosted event, kids will learn all about the habitat and lives of snakes from New England from Rick Roth, Executive Director of the Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team . Live local and exotic animals will be presented, and those who attend will have the opportunity to see these creatures close up! Young Adult Historical Weapons

Come to a Historical Weapons demonstration at the Manchetser Public Library

Manchester Public Library invites young adults to a Weapons demonstration by Gaurd Up! Family Swordsmanship Inc. On Manchester's  “half-day", kids will learn about sword history and techniques from medieval times through live demonstrations. Family Swordsmanship will share replicas of German long swords, Japanese swords, daggers and short swords. Participants will get to practice these sword fighting techniques against the Guard Up! staff using safe, practice swords.
