Central Square Cultural District along Massachusetts Avenue from Prospect Street to Sidney Street and beyond.
This popular event begins with a workshop where participants construct model boats from kits that are provided, and ends with a regatta at Redd's Pond. Family team participation is encouraged. An adult must accompany all children. After constructing your yacht on the grounds of Lee Mansion Gardens, bring it down to Redd’s Pond for her first sail. As always, last year’s models are welcome at the regatta. This event is part of The Marblehead Festival of Arts.
How wonderful to have kids view the world through a 64-color box of Crayola Crayons instead of an 8-color box, and the Children's Festival is here to help bring out the artist in every child. The Children’s Festival is a unique "hands on" arts-based program of activities directed toward children aged ten years and younger. . All activities are free of charge and all children should be accompanied by an adult.
The Newburyport Chamber of Commerce invites you to welcome Spring's arrival to Newburyport at the 2019 Spring Fest! Held annually on Memorial Day Weekend in historic downtown Newburyport, Spring Fest is a two-day festival featuring great live music, art, fine crafts, food from Newburyport’s best restaurants and Kid’s Korner featuring entertainment for children and families.
This 5k Road Race and Kid's Fun Run is a great way to kick off Motif #1 Day! The 5k road race and 1 mile fun run that starts and ends at T Wharf in beautiful downtown Rockport. Run the race and then spend the day with your family enjoying the fun, food and entertainment of the day-log festival.
The funds raised by the race will go to support health and wellness programs at the Rockport Public Schools Health and Wellness Programs. Runner and walkers of all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate. The race will be followed by a day of festivities in downtown Rockport.
The Motif No.1 Day Festival celebrates Rockport across the arts! M1D honors the fishing shack, artist’s studio, and tourist attraction that started it all: an old building right on one of Rockport’s historic wharves, a building painted so often by artists at the turn of the last century that it was given the nickname Motif No.1.
Come celebrate the beginning of strawberries season and summer at Cider Hill Farm! Pick Your Own Strawberries will be available along with hayrides, lawn games, live music, strawberry cotton candy and more! We will also have a prize for the BIGGEST BERRY picked!
The North Andover Festival Committee is inviting you to the 47th annual Sheep Shearing Festival being held on the North Andover Common. The event is held from 10am to 4pm, and includes Sheep shearing and herding demonstrations, crafters, food vendors, pony rides, and much more! Come be a part of the Fueled By Fitness 5k & Kids Fun Run! Race and Kids Fun Run registration begins at 7:30 am at the North Beverly Elementary School. The 5k is a wheel-measured course and travels through many North Beverly neighborhoods and will include water stations.There will be a race warm up that begins at 8:15 am. Kids Fun Run will begin at 8:30 am and the 5K begins at 9:00 am. T-shirts for all 5K runners. T-shirts for Kids Fun Run will be available for purchase on race day.
