Every year the International Festival attracts thousands of people with live music, artists, and food inspired from around the world lining the streets from Main down to the Square. Kids activities will happening at East End Veterans Memorial Park on Walnut Street with music, activities, games, and more.
The Salem Jazz & Soul Festival is a free event the whole family will enjoy. In addition to live sounds of national New Orleans jazz talent, national bands and local ensembles, the day features a Salem Five music education classes, arts & crafts, a kid's tent, and much more, all at the Salem Willows.
What could be better than enjoying a lobster dinner at the beach with your family while helping a worthy cause? Rockport Rotary's Lobsterfest is a unique outdoor dining event held each summer at the American Legion Hall and bandstand in Rockport (on Beach Street, opposite Back Beach). Proceeds benefit local community service projects and the club's scholarship fund.
Presented by the Salem Maritime National Historic Site, the annual Salem Maritime Festival in August hosts an exciting array of free family fun festivities, including live music, traditional craft demonstrations and seaport trade exhibits, story-telling, and family fun! Each year, music, demonstrations, exhibits, and children's activities are available throughout the park and on Derby Wharf in Salem Massachusetts!

Flavoring her sounds with musical dialects hailing from jazz and her Afro-Caribbean roots. Safiya and her powerful band combine jazz chops, urban attitude, and Caribbean beauty.
Celebrate with neighbors, friends and visitors at the Annual Salem Heritage Days Festival. Events are scheduled around Salem throughout the week, kicking off with the annual Annual Salem Maritime Festival and concluding with the Essex Street Fair, produced by the Salem Chamber of Commerce. The days in between are filled with food, fun, comedy and music for all ages.
On the last weekend of July, artisans and fine craftsfolk from all over New England will show and sell their work on the South Village Green in Ipswich, MA. Olde Ipswich Days is a favorite for all to meet and greet old friends and new, browse the booths and do some early holiday shopping, or make some timely indulgences. The fair features the works of more than 60 artists and crafters. Look for sterling, gold, or beaded jewelry, unusual photography, woodwork, knitted textiles, dried flowers and grapevines, cut or stained glass, tapestry, a variety of pottery, and paintings in all mediums, toys, and handmade soaps, and hot dogs and refreshments.
Annual Greek Food Festival. Featuring assorted Greek Foods and Pastries such as Gyro, Lamb Shanks, Lamb and Chicken Souvlaki (Kabobs), Spinach Pie, Pastichio, Stuffed Grape Leaves, Baklava, Koulourakia, Kourambiethes and Much, Much More! Live Greek Music Friday and Saturday night 5-9pm!
