One of the premier car shows of the summer season, be sure to attend the Carriagetown Car Show where all types of vehicles are parked on the closed streets of downtown Amesbury. Come see antiques, hot rods, custom cars, motorcycles and trucks of all makes and models. There is a huge 50/50 raffle with great music supplied by a live DJ. The Essex County Greenbelt Association is hosting the annual Vineyard Hill Trail Race, featuring both 5k and 10k options. Located on the town line of Hamilton and Topsfield, this 5K/10K course takes runners over Vineyard Hill, through sections of Bradley Palmer State Park, along the Bay Circuit Trail, and across Greenbelt’s scenic Shaw Field. The trails are generally wide and rolling, though Vineyard Hill itself adds a challenge to the course!
Come listen to some great music by two bands made up of Salem residents and others from Grade 7 through adult, under the direction of Cynthia Napierkowski, director of the Salem High School Band. Event takes place at the Salem High School Auditorium serving as a rain location.
