Celebrate the arrival of warm weather by attending MassWildlife Endicott Park Family Fishing Festival, Danvers. There events are for adults, kids, and families who want to learn how to fish in a non-competitive environment.
This is a non-competitive, family-friendly, learn to fish event. Bring your fishing equipment, or borrow ours; limited equipment and bait will be provided. This event is in cooperation with Danvers Recreation at Endicott Park (57 Forest Street, Danvers) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The Danvers Memorial Day parade begins at Town Hall at 9 a.m. sharp, and will follow the traditional route of previous years - down Sylvan Street, through downtown and back to Town Hall. Placement of wreaths will be at the Porter Cemetery on High Street, Lane Parkway, and the Memorial Flag Pole in Danvers Square. A reviewing stand will be at the corner of Elm and Essex streets. The Memorial Day exercise will commence at Town Hall upon parade completion, with performances by the Danvers High Marching Band and local students, and a guest speaker.

In the Minecraft class, kids will explore using red stone to build simple machines and build a house based on real architectural styles. Explore digital logic by learning to design and build complex mechanisms, traps, and combination locks.
Kids will start creating their own video game in the Video Gaming class! Plus, learn what career paths you can pursue that include video game play and design.
Support the 5th Annual LUNGstrong 5K & 1½ mile Walk! 100% of proceeds supports lung cancer research at the Mass General Cancer Center under the direction of Dr. Alice Shaw. This event is more than a run/walk...there is great food, drink and music as well as other activites. Awards are given to the runners in the top catagories as well as to the largest fundraiser and fundraiser team. We encourage people to put teams together and teams greater than 10 people are able to have a LUNGSTRONG tee costumized with their team name (for people registered by May 1st). Spirit Camp is a five-day summer program that offers a myriad of ways to explore, express and honor a child's spirit. Ancient healing practices and modern holistic techniques are combined to introduce the curriculum using an array of methods such as storytelling, crafts, activities, games and spending time in nature.
When the doors open at the Hilton Doubletree in Danvers on Thursday, April 4th at 11:30 a.m., hundreds of community leaders, elected officials, business men and women, girls and supporters of girls will unite to celebrate Girls Inc. 31st Annual Celebration luncheon. “We are thrilled to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2019 graduating class and our girl heroes.
