Come play and learn with the Party Pigs! Maureen will be bringing two of her pigs for kids to pet, feed, watch tricks, and assist with tricks. Maureen will also answer questions about pigs and share fun facts.

Come to the museum to join volunteers from Newhall Fields for a very special planting program. Kids will get a chance to plant seeds, learn more about the anatomy of seeds and plants, color, and dress up. This program is drop in from 1-3PM, and included with your admission to the 12-2PM or 2-4PM play session.
Join in on Sundays at 2:30 for STEAM Club for ages 5-11. May’s theme is Farms, and each week participants will explore science and arts through hands-on projects and experiments. Portraits In Silhouette is the combined expertise of silhouette artists and mother-daughter team, Jean Comerford and Marcella Comerford-Foley. Portraits In Silhouette is focused on bringing you original, personalized work, full of inventive detail and creative spark. The silhouettes are never produced with a digital program copied, or traced. You can expect a genuine, hand-cut, and individual portrait each time, with consideration for the subject’s character and those great details – capturing “what makes them who they are.” Whether that is a signature hairstyle, a cowlick, the way they hold their mouth, a bowtie, or glasses, we love to bring out the personality in our portraits.
