The Patricia Lockwood Bach Scholarship for the Arts is pleased to announce a May 20th fundraising event at Marblehead Little Theatre. The Bach Scholarship is awarded to a Marblehead High School graduating senior who intends to pursue higher education in the creative arts.
A Cape Ann holiday tradition, the Cape Ann Symphony Pops is a celebration of with favorites by Anderson, Bach, Herbert, Tchaikovsky, Rutter, Handel and more. The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), hosts its fifth annual ASL day, a celebration of Deaf culture welcoming members of the Deaf community and friends. Coinciding with National Deaf History Month, the program includes American Sign Language tours, performances by DEAFinitely Dance, art-making kits and more. The day's activities are presented in partnership with Boston Deaf Night Out (DNO) and Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
