The Gloucester Schooner Festival is a wonderful celebration of Gloucester's fishing and maritime history during labor day weekend. This year's festival, hosted by Maritime Gloucester, is Gloucester’s major marine event, with participating vessels coming from ports along the Eastern seaboard and beyond. There will be both large and small vessels—ranging from 19 feet to over 100 feet in length. You will see new boats and old boats, from newly built (Ardelle - launched 2011) to over 100 years old!
The Topsfield Fair is a perennial favorite for us. We love fruits and vegetables, and are always on the lookout for the winning 'biggest pumpkin'. Another favorite is checking out the pigs and other farm animals, as well as the interesting variety of guinea pigs and rabbits.

Castle Hill Picnic Concerts are back! Pack a picnic supper and enjoy an evening of live music on the magnificent Grand Allee. Stroll the grounds and explore the newly restored gardens while you enjoy a night out on the estate. Gates open at 5PM for picnicking. Advance ticket reservations are recommended but not required.

Join us for the Gloucester Rotary Club's Centennial Celebration at the Stage Fort Park gazebo overlooking Glouecster Harbor! This celebration will include food from 5 Star Phresh-Phood and Harbor Tap Trailer! We will also have musical guests Captain Jack & The Strangers (The Northshore's Premier Billy Joel Tribute Band) with the opener Brandon Blatchford & the Wannabe Teenagers.
The North Shore Concert Band will perform its annual Summer Series of free outdoor concerts at the Robert Hayes Bandshell at Salem Willows Park beginning Tuesday, July 11th, and continuing every Tuesday through August 17th.
