The Yankee Homecoming Road Race has been a tradition Since 1960 and Running Strong through the heart of Newburyport

The tradition continues in 2024 on Tuesday, July 30th as the Lions Club celebrates the 64th running of the NBPT Lions Yankee Homecoming Race. Imagine a beautiful Summer evening in the seaport town of Newburyport, Massachusetts. Thousands of runners will enjoy our breathtaking 5K & 10 Miles courses along the ocean, through the bustling downtown and charming New England neighborhoods. The NBPT Lions Yankee Homecoming 5K and 10M courses are truly picturesque as they have been for decades.

The Magnolia Community Farmer’s Market will reopen in June of 2021 with a full line up of vendors, followers, entertainment and community purpose. We hope to offer favorite flavors, produce and products, created and operated by local vendors, crafters, artisans, farmers, purveyors, bakers, and chefs. Our dedicated team will strive to provide the very best in local goods while creating a new avenue to give back to our community. Electronic Recycling at Landmark School

Landmark School in Beverly Massachusetts hosts an Electronic Recycling event.

Landmark School is hosting a community Electronics Recycling event  for friends and neighbors to be able to dispose of their broken or unwanted electronics responsibly. The event is a community service fundraiser so a small fee will be charged for donated electronics. Laptops, cell phones, PCs, stereos, fans, blenders, air conditioners, printers, monitors, small refrigerators, microwaves—anything with a plug! Spread the word.

Earth Day Volunteer Clean Up at Appleton Farms

Kids and familiers are encourage to volunteer on Earth Day at Appleton Farms in Ipswich Massachusetts!!

Join the Trustees on Saturday April 20th to celebrate Earth Day on the farm! Neighbors, families, and community members will work together to clean up the farm, complete barnyard projects, restore the chicken enclosure, clean up trails, split and stack wood, assist with property enhancements, and get their hands dirty to care for the great outdoors. We have limited space for volunteers, so sign up soon!
